There are numerous advantages for believing in God. 1) He will never leave you or forsake you. He will be by your side at all times. 2) He died on the cross for you and loves you more than you will ever know. 3) No matter how bad you mess up He will always forgive you. 4) You will go to Heaven instead of burning in a fiery lake of fire and brimstone. 5) When you believe in God a burden is lifted off your shoulders and that empty spot inside your heart is gone. 6) He is the intercessor for your life. 7) No matter what happens you can tell anything to God and He will listen

∙ 12y agoUnless you find it emotionally satistfying, there is no actual benefit to the belief in something that no one can prove the existence of. If you want to believe in a personal god, or anything else no one has ever seen and science has never proven even slightly likely to exist, that is your own personal choice.
Some benefits are comfort, hope and possibly even better choices and behavior. Some extremely religious people follow their religion strictly and do a lot of good deeds. Religions teach people to do good things, to help others, to not lie, and other things that can benifit both themself as an individual and other people in the community. Though no physical benefits, there are benefits to a person as an individual and the people around them.
To believe in something other than what is physically percievable, can often give one a feeling of deep connection and belonging. Whether the "God" is question is one of the main monotheistic Gods, an animal spirit, a presense within nature itself, or anything else, that belief can be the thing that carries one through dark times and gives a purpose to carry on. It can also lay the foundations for the ethics by which one lives one's life.

- Being grateful to Allah who blessed you with unaccountable blessings
- Being rewarded by the Paradise (per God will) and saved from the hell fire (per God will)
- Feeling that you are the slave of God only and not to any other creature nor any other life materials (money, property, ...)
- Feeling honor and dignity and peace in yourself.

Believing in God is very advantageous. Christianity and believing in God gives you a good set of rules (ten commandments) to live your life by. Going to church also creates a sense of community and you can create many friends there by doing this. The feeling that God is alwayds with them gives some people reassurance especially when times are bad.
