The advantages are nothing. If you ever wondered how rich people got rich well mostly they get by doing good and school and then go to a Great school like MIT, Cornell, Harvard etc. If you put that you went to one of those schools you will get a job left and right and jobs that you could get payed 1 to 2 million dollars a year then you get the nice cars and stuff. So in the end there are no advantages for flunking other than detention.
