On some, like Pandora Radio, you can type in the name of an artist or song and it will pick out other bands and songs that you might like, according to your taste in music, and to broaden your horizons in music. On others, like Grooveshark, you can look up specific songs and listen to them, and they also have a "radio" setting where it will try to guess at what you would like, according to that song. However, Pandora is more precise in finding what you'd like, whereas Grooveshark is better for that urge to hear a specific song. Both Pandora and Grooveshark are free and I love them both.
