Answer
All satellites are sent into space with a purpose in mind. It may be to register weather patterns on earth or have a built in telescope to see further into space. They may be sent to pick up signals roaming around in space. Many are of a military type and are used to spy on other countries.
Satellites are useful in many ways such as giving us information daily, such as the weather forecast.
Satellites are useful because of their location. Their location gives them a view of a large portion of the earth at once (versus for example a mountain top). This is useful for looking at weather (e.g. clouds, temperature) and useful for communications (to allow two people to communicate from one part to another part of the world).
Other location advantages include:
- photographing the ground for thousands of purposes (military, mapping)
- astronomy (the earth's atmosphere causes problems so being above it is helpful) Satellites also give us information for GPS', photo's and help in many discoveries. If we didn't have satellites we wouldn't know hardly anything about our solar-system, where we live, the planets and other solar-systems. Technology wouldn't be so nearly as huge!
Examples:
1.A doctor can remotely do operation using satellite communication by giving instructions
to the junior Doctor Who is about to operate a patient.
2.Mobile communication-what we are all using right now
3. for military, avionics and astronomy applications developments
4.For research and developments in the field of Navigation and Security
5. To keep track of the ships in the sea etc..
Advantages are many more ...
because it is useful for many purpose like weather forecast, sending signals etc.
It is much easier to use a geostationary satellite as it stays in the same place.
You can always find it in the same direction.
Its expensive and slows down your upload speed.
predicting weather, high speed internet, telephones, detecting pollutants, gathering information about large bodies.
Satellite systems do not suffer from local interference or terrain.
advantages of satellite
There are no known satellites of Mercury.
Triangulation of satellites requires three satellites that bank of one another simultaneously.
Yes but they are called natural satellites
CORRECT ANSWER:No.
Satellites are in space not in countries.
No, because rings are not satellites, but the moons are satellites.
Mercury has no satellites.
There are no known satellites of Mercury.
Mercury has no satellites.
Communication satellites orbit around the Earth.Communication satellites orbit around the Earth.Communication satellites orbit around the Earth.Communication satellites orbit around the Earth.
It has 3 satellites!
Satellites that are controled by someone
Triangulation of satellites requires three satellites that bank of one another simultaneously.
Elliptical satellites don't have a constant speed, but circular satellites do
Satellites, can either be natural satellites (for example; Earth's moon), or man made satellites (for example; communication satellites).
Super has been to natural satellites but hasn't been to artificial satellites
Yes, if you are talking about natural satellites. Artificial satellites (spacecraft) are not moons.
