Wind tubines can kill birds (and get in the way of many flying objects) and people think that they look ugly. Wind turbines need wind to generate and there is not always wind. also, because wind tubines are built in nice wild feilds, they spoil the nature feeling.

That is called renewable energy.

What type of energy such as solar energy or wind energy that can be used over and over is what?

Renewable sources of energy.

What are 5 differences between solar and wind energy?

solar energy is energy from the sun and wind energy is energy from the wind

What sources of energy are wind and solar?

Wind and solar are renewable energy.

Is wind energie the same as solar energy?

No, wind energy comes from the wind and solar energy comes from the sun.

What are two differences between using solar energy and wind energy?

One difference is the source: solar energy comes from the sun, while wind energy comes from the movement of air. Another difference is the way energy is converted: solar energy is converted directly using solar panels, while wind energy is converted through wind turbines.

What are some non polluting sources of energy?

Solar, Wind, Water. geothermal, tidal, ocean energy etc

Why is wind energy called solar energy?

Wind energy is indirectly derived from the sun because the uneven heating of the earth's surface by the sun creates wind patterns. As the sun heats the air at different rates, the air moves, creating wind. Therefore, wind energy is often referred to as a form of solar energy.

How are wind and solar power different from energy sources such as oil and gas?

Oil and gas are non-renewable and produce emissions when burned. Wind and solar power take energy from the wind or sunlight, and will always be available so long as the sun exists. Both have advantages and disadvantages.

Which pair of resources is renewable?

Solar, water, wind, biomass, etc are the pair of resources that are renewable.

What are the disadvantages of using wind energy and solar energy?

Solar energy is not available when the day is cloudy.Wind energy is not available when wind is not blowing.

What is the difference between solar energy and wind energy?

Solar energy is generated by capturing sunlight and converting it into electricity using photovoltaic cells, while wind energy is generated by harnessing the kinetic energy of wind through wind turbines to produce electricity. Solar energy relies on sunlight availability, while wind energy relies on wind speed and consistency. Both types of energy are renewable and clean sources of electricity.
