The Executive Branch of government has no specific number of people. Generally, it consists of a chief executive, which in the case of the United States is the President, and his or her advisors, cabinet members, and officers of the executive department agencies.
The President of the United States, the Vice President, the Cabinet, and other departments and agencies are all part of the Executive Branch. There are over 4 million Americans that work in the United States Executive Branch, which includes the military.
