No authors. We are various people who like to answer questions. Some do come on here and make silly answers or try to sell, but there are supervisors who correct and monitor the questions and answers. For the most part people are knowledgeable in their subject areas. You can tell when it is a child just making up an answer. If it doesn’t make sense double check on it.

In the context of the PubMed site, "affiliation" refers to the institutional or organizational connection of the authors of a research article. This typically includes information about the university, hospital, or research institute where the authors conducted their work. Affiliation details help readers understand the context of the research and can also indicate the resources and support available to the authors during their study.
WikiAnswers owner Chris Whitten started the site (as FAQ Farm), but WikiAnswers is "authored" by its community of users. As WikiAnswers Contributors, we ask and answer each other's questions. You might say, "We the people of the Internet are the authors of this site." Most of the users of WikiAnswers are dedicated to building and improving the site.
To determine the authors of a website, look for an "About Us" or "Author" section on the site. Check for the author's name, credentials, and contact information. You can also verify the author's credibility by researching their background and expertise.
