guinea pigs are just allot of time and money for what they are. they are not considered bad but I recommend a dog, cat pig or turtle!
also a great pet is a pet rock (be sure to try it!)
guinea pigs are not that bad but remember rock you don't have to pay for or feed so try it!!!!
The bad things about guinea pigs is...
1.sheds in the early and late winter
2.if you open your fridge. It will squeak loudly.
3.never leave your guinea pigs cage open because it will eat all of your food.
4.it will get pissed off if you pet on top of it's head.
5.clean your guinea pigs cage or else it will get a sickness and die
It is bad because the animal could get sick have diarehea have skin or eye problems or get annomnia
I try to clean my guinea pig's cage around once a week or when it looks dirty.
if it gets REALLY REALLY bad possibly. if the cage is pretty dirty,it could make the guinea pig sick or it isn't good for him/her. Most likely it wont kill the guinea pig.
Actually, it depends on the guinea pig you have. If he/she has a bad bladder, it's going to smell pretty bad. And, if you have a small cage, it'll get real messy real fast. If you scrub the cage down real good when you clean it, it should be fine for a while. Try to clean the cage when it first starts to smell and the smell shouldn't be there. Sometimes, the guinea pig is the one who smells bad.
This is not really a custom cage, but a cage with homemade penthouse on the top. http://www.guinea-pig-paradise.com/homemade-guinea-pig-cages.html
no
It means that the guinea pig wants to go back In its cage if not that then the guinea pig is cooled
You might see the guinea pig look around the cage and call for it. Whenever I take my guinea pigs apart the one that's still in the cage looks all around the cage and if he doesn't see the other guinea pig he starts squeaking.
No, paraketes need a bird cage not something made for a guinea pig. They have special needs for their cage so you need a bird cage.
Depends on the Guinea Pig - also on the cage. I keep my guinea pigs in an open-bottomed cage.
No, guinea pigs are complex animals. They will run away, that's just what they do.
not necessarily; if you leave one guinea pig in the cage with the sick guinea pig, the guinea pig that is not sick can get sick; you should separate them just to be safe but if the guinea pigs start to get lonely, put them back together
Yes because there is the after birth from the guinea pig
