The basic concepts are the following:

* All objects have a property called "mass". This property causes inertia; if an object is more difficult to speed up or slow down, it is said to have more inertia, or more mass.

* This mass also causes the force of gravity. EVERY mass in the Universe attracts EVERY other mass.

* The force of gravity is greater when greater masses are involved.

* On the other hand, when the distance between the objects increases, the force of gravity is less.
