The Greek Orthodox are a denomination of Christianity. They have some very ornate churches full of icons (pictures of religious figures like Jesus on) which they use to help them focus on praying. The cannot worship these icons because If they didvit would be against the commandment that tells you cannot worship idols. They also have an iconistasis which is a screen of icons. They believe that no matter how humble the pictures are that they must have one of Jesus and one of Mary. They believe the rest of the Christian beliefs too. They do certain ceremonies differently and for different reasons. They take part in Divone Liturgy which is their name for the Eucharist because they can trace the act of eating bread and drinking wine to early Christianity.
