Protestants are Christians who believe first and foremost in the Holy Bible. They believe that The Bible is the inspired word of God, that it is true and authoritative in all matters. They do not tack on a bunch of other side teachings besides what are in the Bible nor do they have a hierarchy of organized religious leaders. Protestants believe that man can go to God directly through Jesus Christ. Protestants believe that all people are sinners and require a savior. They believe that there is nothing which a man can do to earn salvation, but if he calls upon Jesus Christ and accepts His free gift of salvation then a man can be saved. Jesus, Christians believe, is 100% God and 100% man sent by the Father (also God) from heaven to die on the cross a substitutionary death in order to pay the price of sin in place of the actual sinner. But, it is up to the sinner to accept this gift. He can do this through faith which comes from reading the Bible.

we wont bow down or worship false idols ie.crucifix, virgin Mary and pope

AnswerThe vast majority of Protestants have the same Creeds (eg Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed) as Catholics and hence the same core beliefs in Jesus Christ. the Trinity, the life, teaching, death resurrection and ascension of Jesus, and his coming again.

However, Protestants, as their name implies, do not accept the authority of the pope nor certain practices and doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church that they believe are not revealed from God either in scripture or by His Holy Spirit, but are invented by man. And often invented in order that the Catholic Church gains power or wealth.

These include some doctrines surrounding the Virgin Mary, invocation of saints, purgatory, transubstantiation, the sacrificial nature of the mass, infallibility of the pope and so on.

Protestants do not believe in the pope or they do not believe in saints either. They only believe in Jesus Christ and god.

Protestants DO believe in saints, and in essence, all Christians are saints. However, Protestants do not pray to saints and believe that they should intercede on their behalf. They pray to Jesus Christ (God) only!! Likewise they do not pray to Mary, Jesus' mother. She is not devinity.

Protestants believe that there is only one God and that Jesus Christ is His son. They also believe that the sacrifice of Jesus was enough to cleanse all sinners of their sins.
