The membership for Runescape is something around 5.99 USD per month to subscribe.
I feel that becoming a Runescape member is worth this price for many reasons.
1) New areas become available
2) New, more useful, items are available
3) It's easier and quicker to make gp(Runescape currency)
4) There's a much larger variety of mini games
5) New skills are available to use, and all skills become easier to advance in.
