When companices(TNC's) locate to Thailand there is...

1)Investment into the local community etc by TNC's such as Toyota, leading to growth of economy. Therefore more money into new roads(transport eg motorway connections) and communications, hospitals etc.

2) Technology and knowledge increases as TNC's bring skills and equipment from MEDC's into LEDC Thailand educating and providing more oppurtunities for local work forces.

3) Employment. High unemployment can be tackled when large companies locate their factories into these areas. People willing to work long hours for low pay in bad conditions so suit both partys, although there is always the issue of exploitation.

4) growth- 'multiplier effect'. As Thailand begins to be targeted by industries/companies...other ones see benefits and follow. Use eachothers ideas etc. Increases employment, economy, etc(other points) all benefitting Thailand

5) Environment and safety may improve as comapnies bring regulations and technology from MEDCS where working guidlines are far stricter. Better conditions.

Hope this is helpful, have just learnt about it so positive it is correct...
