I'm sorry if I can't answer you very specificly, but - 1. the diversity of species is important to keep up on this planet, it's an important aspect of evolution, which again is one of the most important factors for life's existence here on earth 2. Orangutangs have developed in an ecosystems many years, and if they were to disappear it would quite likely put the nature off balance there 3. If you are religious, think about the fact that god/the gods created the orangutangs and if he/she/they did so, we humans should not extinguish them 4. Some may like the animals, and it would be bad for them if there suddenly weren't anyone left Please excuse my limited english.
