If you are an author, you may find it easier. Did you ever have the sensation that your mind is going too fast for your fingers? Will if you have voice recognition software that will never happen again, you can write as fast as you can speak, and it's almost 100% accurate, regardless of background noise. Another advantage is for people who have carpal tunnel, or other physical disabilities. Some people who have ADD or ADHD say that it is easier because it keeps their minds completely occupied. Sometimes when you type, you find that your mind is wandering, and you lose your train of thought, of course, you lose your train of thought when you're speaking sometimes, but it happens a lot less often. Also, voice-recognition software does not make any typos, and knows every word you will ever want to use in casual conversation, although I have had to teach mine some words like prestidigitation, but it learns very easily. I am using my voice recognition software right now, and highly recommend Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 10 preferred.
