Dogs do have whiskers
The exact formula for Scottish Leader whisky is kept a secret. However, it is known that it features 75 percent grain whiskies and 25 percent malt whiskies. The 75 percent grain whiskies features a blend of maize and wheat grain whisky while the 25 percent is a blend of 25 separate milk whiskies.
Generally whisk(e)y classifications are by region and have disctintive flavor profiles. Scotch whisky is one of them, and there are different flavor profiles according to the specific region of Scotland where it's produced. Others include Irish whiskey, American whiskey (may not be limited to Bourbon and Tennessee whiskey), Canadian whiskey, and Asian whiskies (in particular to Taiwanese and Japanese whiskies).
Vatted whiskies are also produced by mixing different types of whisky together. However, in this case only a mix of single malts are used. These whiskies may be from the same or different distilleries, have been matured in different types of cask and be of differing ages. A vatted whisky can by definition therefore contain just two differing whiskies, but commonly contain more. Therefore an easy way to remember the difference between the two is - blends are a combination of different single malts AND grain whiskies, while vattings are a combination of different single malts.
