I believe k12 has the best curriculum, and I have used several. Many online charter schools are popping up all over. Many of them are now using k12 products. k12 schools are good for many reasons. Each student is given a placement test and then given individualized curriculum based on his or her individual needs. With the help of online charter schools today, homeschooling can be much easier than it used to be. They provide you with everything you need, a computer, a printer, books, supplies, and teachers that you can both email and call for help and assistance. This is free and there are no charges. Online schools are definitely becoming a way of the future for the children in generations to come.

You can obtain this information by going to www.collegeboard.com/splash/ and using the sites College MatchMaker search engine, or click on the related links section below to go directly to the site. You can research colleges and universities by name, or by programs of study, or by geographical location, size, or combinations of all etc. The site will provide you with a list of institutions based on your request. It will give you the schools background, accreditation, degree offerings, programs of study, entrance requirements, tuition and fees, athletic programs etc. and a link to each institutions official web page. Make sure the college or university has a regional accreditation (most important). Practice navigating this site. It will be well worth the time and effort. Many of the "online universities" have accredation issues and/or a general low quality of education. Many universities will not accept credit from these universities. If you are looking for an online degree, I would first look at reputable universities that offer online degree programs. Examples of this would be University of Illinois and Penn State University (I have taken courses through both and was impressed by the teaching quality, and the credits transfer as if I had taken the course on campus).
