There's no way to be totally subjective with my response, so I'll go the touristy route. If you are a tourist you have to go to Opus One, Sterling, Coppola, and Beringer.
There are many wineries in the Napa Valley area, and the best way to visit multiple wineries is through a wine tour. One can find more information about these tours on the California tourism website, and also through the websites of Platypus Tours and Wine Country Limos.
There are many wineries in Nape Valley. They can be found on Main Street St. Helena, Washington St. Helena, Kirkland Ranch Road Napa, White Lane St. Helena, and many others which can all be found online.
Napa Valley Lodge is located in the heart of wine country. It features an extensive spa selection as well as tour packages to surrounding wineries.
Napa Valley is probably the most famous, but California is full of famous wineries.

I would be very surprised if someone actually saw Bigfoot in the Napa Valley. Bigfoot would not come so close to humans. They are very elusive and stay in the remotest places they can find. The Napa Valley is almost completely wall to wall vinyards and wineries and more important than that is the people. Tourists, vinyard workers and of course the locals.

The Napa Valley is located about an hour north of San Francisco. The Valley is 30 miles long and ranges from 1 to 5 miles in width. This is one of the top wine producing regions of the world and attracts many visitors. There are more than 200 wineries with tasting rooms where you can visit and sample the wines. Many provide tours.
Best time to visit Napa Valley is in the fall, I read that Napa Valley get's very crowded during the summer. So, I would go in the fall when it's less crowded and I can enjoy my stay.
