I have installed 20" rims with p295/45r20 Toyo tires with very pleasing results. You didnt say if it is a 4x4 or not. If so your rim selection needs to be at least a +20 offset on an 8 inch wide wheel, so the rims dont stick out past the fenders. If it is a 2x4, you can get away with +15. GL
Assuming you have stock wheels + tires, you need 4 struts, and keep your tires between 28 and 32psi. If by chance you Upgraded your wheels with 50 series tires, and wheels, happy stiff ride.
No, a 1999 Ford Mustangs tires will not bolt on to a 1979 Trans AM. These tires are not the same size or structure and require different bolts to hold them on.
Yes they will. I have 305 24" wheels for my 01 Tahoe. They fit well.
It depends on what wheels your cougar came with. If you have the 15 inch, six spoke fan blade wheels, you need 205/60 tires, if you have the 16 inch, sport package wheels, you need the harder to find, 215/50 tires. 17 inch wheels were not available in '99 to the best of my knowledge. If you have trouble finding the 215/50/16 tires, both the more common 225/50 tires, and the 215/55 tires can be used without much problem.
This is a front wheel drive vehicle and cables should be fitted only to the front tires.
Yes if the wheels are the same size. But make sure you are installing the correct size tires. Look on driver's door post for correct size.
1999 and up Ford Superduty. Talk about the biggest screw up of all time.
Depends on the diameter of your brakes both front and rear. They have to fit inside the wheel. I would have to say no if the truck came with 15" wheels from the manufacturer.
