no, they should not be made of same material because handle of brush is made up of plastic ,which is made up of very toxic chemicals. If bristles are made up of plastic then it will be very harmful for our health.

The materials made from the tooth brush where chosen because the nylon bristles, and a plastic handle hold the toothbrush. With out the nylon bristles, and a plastic handle the toothbrush would be nothing .
