England = London. Scotland = Edinburgh. Wales = Cardiff. Northern Ireland = Belfast.
Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland. Cardiff is the capital of Wales Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland. Other than that, regions are not unambiguously defined and they do not have capitals.
The United Kingdom is commonly split into four regions: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. England's capital is London, Wales has Cardiff, Scotland's is Edinburgh and Northern Ireland's capital city is Belfast.
The islands of the UK do not have one Capital. Dublin is the capital of the Republic of Ireland London is the capital of the United Kingdom. Parts of the UK ( Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland) have their own regional capitals, as do the smaller islands- the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, etc.
