Pregnancy does not cause boils but the surge of your hormones could be the culprit. To help with the pain soak the boil in hot water (with or without epsom salt) or apply a heating pad. Heat causes the head to form and will draw the pus out. Do not, under any circumstance, try to pop the boil. Squeezing it or lancing it yourself could cause further infection. If you are running a fever or there are "veiny" line radiating from the boil seek medical attention ASAP.
Engine coolant temperature is cooled by the radiator, moved by a water pump and controlled by a thermostat. If there are troubles with any of those components the coolant will boil Also if the head gasket goes bad gasses from combustion inside the engine will get into the coolant and cause it to boil.
