2) An opposing party that is overly aggressive, that wants confrontation (usually to prove theirselves).
3) Remaining hypervigilant in being careful that you or the opposing party doesn't make any mistakes while building peace. This often creates tension for both sides.
The best way to build peace is to allow the opposing force to watch you from a distance while not in direct contact, allow them to come to you peacefully on their terms, and be careful not to be too "opinionated," but remain calm, polite, and as civil as possible without trying too hard to be their 'friend.'
