well when a cop runs your license plate your history pops up on there lil computer. and if you've had one DUI... well... they are more likely to suspect your drinking and driving again. so the chanes are high.
If someone is on house arrest for DUI and they fail the breathalizer and they go to jail...Does anyone know if they will be in jail the rest of their sentence ? Do they get a second chance ?
It would be highly recommended to hire an attorney after your second DUI arrest. A lawyer will could get you a lesser sentence in court and deal with the DMV for you.
I would try www.duihelpnow.info
Yes, there are a few trucking companies who are willing to give second chances, and whose insurance will allow them to hire you as long as the DUI/DWI conviction is at LEAST 3 years old from the date of CONVICTION, not arrest.
I didnt get arrested but its says i have a DUI
"resisting arrest charge" no and we dont need you. DUI/DWI
"Mandatory Minimums for DUI are on a sliding scale in which first second and third are each exponentially more severe. First DUI can be no jail, community service and fine, second can be 30-90 days of jail and in some cases house arrest, 80 hours community service, and thousands of dollars in fines. Third DUI will be a 6-12 months behind bars no chance for house arrest."
Yes, you can get a DUI arrest if you don't breathe into the breathalyzer and refuse a blood test. First, an officer can arrest you for showing ANY signs of impairment or intoxication. Second, most States enacted laws that if you refuse a breathalyzer, you can be arrested anyway. You can't avoid it, so you might as well do what they ask.
Usually small independent companies without a strict hiring policy, give second chances.
None. It is possible to get a DUI once through carelessness, but after going through that, normal people are extremely careful. Only people with a problem get a second DUI.
No
If you have been arrested for DUI, there is no statute of limitations. An unanswered DUI ticket will result in a bench warrant for your arrest, and there is no time limit.
