Considering that the majority of illnesses and diseases CANNOT transfer from cat to human, the chances are extremely low that ANY cat could "make you sick". In fact, even in nearly all cat viruses, likely a kitty cold, a cat can sneeze right in your face and NOT get a human sick.

The most common event between cats and humans is when humans do not wash a cat scratch with soap and warm water, and it gets infected. But if you got scratched by a thorny bush, never washed it and let it get dirty, you'd have the same risk of infection even though no cat was involved.
