There is no officially recognized cure for autism, as far as I'm concerned.. I have heard, that some autistic people find psychotherapy helpful, as it helps them get to know their autism, and thereby gives them an ability to learn how to cope with it, and how to prevent the preventable sides of the handicap from giving them too much trouble.

My own experience in this area (psychotherapy) is limited, however - even though I am autistic and have been for 18 years and counting, I have found other ways of learning to cope etc. ...
