There is one main danger. You never know who you're really talking too. And sometimes, people have bad intentions. That is why I recomand not to put too much info on you're facebook. And only be friends with the people you PERSONALY know.
Facebook is not a safe site it gives too much personal away to a lot of people across the globe but if you want to be in danger that's fine with me.
Facebook can be safe or unsafe. Depends how you use it. If you write where you live, what school you go to/work etc. People can find you easely! But if you are carful with what you write, and only be friends with people you know. There is no danger at all. :)
I'm assuming your question is "Is there danger on MySpace and Facebook for your children?". The answer to this is a definite yes! Predators and kidnappers are lurking all over these sites, tracking your kids and attempting to gettheir personal info. Facebook is doing a great job of deleting all the registerd sex offenders off their site, but some slip through the filter, you know. I would not allow a child under the age of 9 to have a MySpace and/or Facebook. Hope I helped!
Here are some of the disadvantages of using Facebook: 1. Facebook Addiction- excessive use of facebook may affect productivity and sometimes health. 2. Privacy Risk- anytime you signed up to any online account, you're giving up a degree of privacy. Identity theft , is one of the pressing issues nowadays in facebook. Also, you never really know who's viewing your profile. Hope this helps.
well there hav been many pedofiles and strangers people have talked to. on the new there has been a lot of things what hav happend on facebook. Also many people have put personal and private things on there and they have been commented on then that person is the talk of his/her friends who saw it...
If anyone receives threats from another user on Facebook then they should get in immediate contact with the administratorss of the site. They should not delete the threats but keep them as evidence. They can also go to the police if they feel threatened or in any actual danger.
I think Facebook can be addicting because it's a social network that allows you to communicate wth your friends, family, and reuniting. It's also the place where you keep an update with people, and even meeting new people. Also, it has applications and games.
Danger, DANGER, DANGER, DANGER, DANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! INJURY MAY RESULT IF YOU TRY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DANGER, DANGER, DANGER, DANGER, DANGER, DANGER, DANGER, DANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are many reasons. Parents see the true side of their kids when they read things written by their children on Facebook or see pics uploaded to Facebook. Like when their kids are talking to their friends about stuff thats going on in their life including parties and things that parents wouldn't be so happy about. They could also be angry if you are using suggestive language on Facebook or if you are spending to much time on Facebook and not listening to them. Other reasons could be that you are giving to much personal info way which puts you in danger.
Well, I just heard about a lady that posted on her Facebook page that she was going to a concert. A strange man saw it and robbed her home when she was gone. Another danger is identity theft.
The Facebook age cannot be lowered due to a law called COPPA. COPPA exists to protect children from harm and danger by preventing them joining anything online that may reveal their identity or location. This law exists for your own safety, the internet is crawling with paedophiles.
