By my understanding, the deleted scenes were indeed completely filmed and ready too go. how ever to shorten the movie, Disney scraped the scenes. I believe Disney still has them, somewhere. In the trailers for the movie, it shows clips of the deleted scenes (such as the pool scene, the super market scene, and the candy crow scene). i am still one day hoping too find these scenes somewhere online or for Disney too release Hocus Pocus with the deleted scenes filled in. But as of now there is no way to watch the full deleted scenes :( i know it really sucks
