What are the differences between the sheeted offset and the webfeet offset machines?

Type your answer here... sheetfed offset printing is exactly as it says, each sheet is printed individually, either one side at a time, or sheetfed perfected whereby the press automatically turns the sheet over after the first set of print units, and prints the reverse side, all in one pass through the press. It still remains in sheet form after printing so has to be folded seperately.

Web offset, or Heatset Web Offset as it is most commonly known, is where a reel of paper-a continuous web- passes through the printing machine, and is printed both sides at the same time from the different top and bottom colour print units. Usually comes off the print machine already folded, although the paper web can through a sheeter unit within the m/c to deliver a sheeted product.
