there are a lot of different breeds (satin, rex, silver martins, flemish giant, etc.) and they are classified in two categories, hares and rabbits. hare's are typically not domesticated, whereas rabbit's are the pets people have. Tan is a beautiful breed of hare that has been domesticated. though they are still pretty wild.
