Labret. Medusa. Snake Bites (single or both) Spider Bites(like snake bites but inside of being on the oposite side of the mouth its on both sides close together) Monroe. Madonna(almost like monroe just lower. besure to tell the piercer where you want the piercing) Verticle Labret. i think that's it? you can also ask your piercer what different kinds there are. He's probably the most reliable and will help you decide.

∙ 14y agoThere are nine different lip piercings they go by many names but I will give you the proper names and we will forget the variant names to avoid confusion.
- Center lower lip "Labret"
- Center upper lip "Medusa"
- Left upper lip "Monroe"
- Right upper lip "Madonna"
- Left lower lip "Simply a lip piercing"
- Right lower lip "Simply a lip piercing"
- Center of the lower lip "Vertical Labret"
- Left and Right lower lip by the chin line done as a pair "Low Brets"
- Lower center lip "Horizontal Labret"
Now when 5 and 6 are done together they are called "viper bites", "snake bites", blah blah. We won't get into names because that's just a lost leader there are so many variations that the names just confuse things further. Now standard piercings are the first seven listed above.
More experimental piercings are listed below the standards and should only be done by truly experienced professional body piercers who has a documented record of performing these piercings. The standard piercings as with any piercings should be done by an experienced professional body piercer, and are not to be attempted by inexperienced wannabe home piercing novices. Serious personal injury can result from botched piercing attempts so be fore warned.
