Lot is not a defined term. Every lot can be different. You would have to know what community, what sub-division and the specific lot numbers. Then you can go to the county clerk's office and get the dimensions for the two lots in question.

How much land was a part of The Louisiana Purchase?

By a treaty signed on Apr. 30, 1803, the United States purchased from France the Louisiana Territory, more than 2 million sq km (800,000 sq mi) of land extending from the Mississippi River to the Rocky Mountains. The price was 60 million francs, about $15 million; $11,250,000 was to be paid directly, with the balance to be covered by the assumption by the United States of French debts to American citizens.

How does Jefferson solve the dilemma over whether it was constitutional to purchase Louisiana?

Necessity. Jefferson had historically been a strict constructionist prior to the acquisition of the Louisiana Purchase. However, when he was provided with the offer to buy all of the French Louisiana territory, he saw it as too good of an offer to refuse. So, he found that although the Constitution had no provision that would expressly allow him to buy land, he was allowed to make treaties with foreign nations (Art. II, Section 2, Clause 2). Therefore, he treated the land purchase as a treaty and followed the provisions provided in the Constitution for the approval of treaties.
