What are the disadvantage and advantage of a radio?

Advantages of DAB Radio over FM/AM radio's:

1) they automatically tune into all of the available radio stations and so do not need retuning

2) they can display extra information using PAD, such as the song title, artist name and general information about the radio station

3) there is a greater choise of satations

4) There is less interference, and does not have the crackle that you sometimes getwith an FM/AM radio

5) With the newer and better made DAB radio's, you can pause and rewind the radio station

Disadvantages of DAB Rdio's

1) there is not world wide coverage, so many areas have poor or no DAB radio signal

2) They are much more expensive - you can get a normal radio for less than £10, but it is very dificult to buy a DAB radio for less than £25

3) Most cars still use FM/AM radio's, so if FM/AM radio was shut down and only DAB radio was used then about 2/3 of people would not be able to liusten to music in there cars.
