WAN (wide area network) had alot of advantages like the ability to move around because it is wireless. a disadvantage is that it isnt as fast as a wired connection. Also you can get interference from walls or other wireless devices like cordless phones.

What are the disadvantages of using WAN?

Some disadvantages of using a Wide Area Network (WAN) include higher costs associated with setup and maintenance, as WANs often rely on leased telecommunication lines and specialized equipment. Additionally, WANs can experience slower speeds and higher latency compared to Local Area Networks (LANs), which can affect performance for applications requiring real-time data transfer. Security concerns are also prevalent, as data transmitted over WANs is more vulnerable to interception and attacks.
