Well, there are no drawbacks to fishing. In fact it helps lower blood pressure and reduces stress, also it may even put a meal on your table. Outside of that if you become seasick you may have to fish from land.

But, of course there are drawbacks for the fish.

And other drawbacks for the human race if we continue overfishing. Many areas of the ocean that used to be full of fish are now seriously empty.
