It causes day and night, which effects many things, because the Sun gives energy. For humans, solar electricity cannot be produced. They do not have extraordinary eye sight and so daily activities can not be performed as well. Humans also need rest and therefore become dormant at night. Plants need the Sun for food. They have a chemical in them called chlorophyll which is used in photosynthesis. They need the Sun's light to perform this. Reptiles, amphibians and others animals (not birds or mammals) rely on the Sun for energy as they are cold blooded and can not control their core temperature. They therefore need the Sun to gain energy and only move about in the day. Overall, the Earth's rotation has many effects on animals, plants and humans, especially on their energy levels and performance.
Because most life on Earth evolved around the day-night (called "diurnal") cycle, we depend on it. As humans, we get depressed in constant light or darkness, and most animals depend on the cycle in part to regulate their metabolism.
The rotational factor alone is probably unimportant; we're not conscious of the Earth's rotation, but we would miss the light and dark cycles if it were disturbed.
There are cave-dwelling species on Earth which are acclimated to perpetual darkness, and many species of deep-sea life live below the depth at which light can penetrate the oceans.
When the earth spins the seasons change
Earth's rotation is slowing slightly with time; thus, a day was shorter in the past. This is due to the tidal effects the Moon has on Earth's rotation.
It's called Coriolis force.
the presence of day and night proved its rotation
Yea they do its a simple answer they are so hi the mass of a huge clump of them will slow down earths rotation
rotation
By slowing down the earths rotation but will not make effect to humans .
coriolis effects
It's called the 'coriolis' effect.

The earths rotation effects whether it is night or day (so you'll see the moon at night).
It's called Coriolis force.
the moon creats earths tides! It also effects the planet by stabilizing the rotation of earth!
