Other than the highly controversial martian meteorite that some say contained evidence of fossilized microscopic bacterial lifeforms, there is no evidence that the average person has in his/her possession that proves life exists elsewhere. Proof that liquid water exists elsewhere on another planet or moon would indicate that life might be possible, but it would be a huge 'maybe' without other evidence such as chemical indicators or fossils.

Why do people believe in a supreme being but not in the supernatural or life elsewhere in the rest of the universe?

Belief in a supreme being is actually a belief in the supernatural, but most people who believe in a supreme being are taught or conditioned as to what it is permissible to believe. Sometimes that conditioning extends to not accepting the possibility that life could exist elsewhere in the universe. More important to the issue of belief in the possibility of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe is that this could call into question the entire basis of religions as we know them.

Is there life elsewhere in the multiverse?

I guess there could be life elsewhere other than earth. If you consider the total size of the multiverse and the possibility of life like the temperature and the distance from the star and the availability of water etc.. i guess / suppose there could be planet/s somewhere in the multiverse which are as conducive as earth and may support the existence of life. their is thought to be an infinite number of universes so there would be infinite life

What do you think the answers to Jonas's questions are about Elsewhere?

In "The Giver," Jonas's questions about Elsewhere reflect his curiosity about freedom, emotions, and the unknown. He likely learns that Elsewhere represents a place of choice and individuality, contrasting with the controlled, uniform life in his community. Ultimately, it symbolizes hope and the possibility of living a more authentic and fulfilling existence beyond the confines of societal rules. Jonas's journey suggests that exploring Elsewhere is essential for personal growth and understanding the complexities of life.

Some scientists think that life may exist in other parts of the universe--is that true?

as its coolScientists hope to find life in the Universe because of all the potential planets that are expected to harbor life . They also search diligently for water because of the probability that where water is so too , they hope , is life in some form . To date they have discovered over 400 planets .
