Eyespots are located at the tip of each ray on a starfish. A Starfish can only discern light and dark with it's eyespots.
The eyespots on the starfish are located at the ends of the rays, the five finger-like structures. Therefore, there are five eyespots. The eyespots are not like humans' eyes- starfishes' eyespots only sense light and dark.

Sharks, Manta rays, and large bony fishwell a starfish is a predator to a shark and Manta ray also boney fishes and they could be enemies with mussels oysters and clams
Some starfish can shed an arm and grow a new one later if a predator has caught an arm in its mouth.Some, but very few,can grow an entire body from a single ray.
