factors that affect a childs growth and development are

health - medical problems and their diet

finance/poverty - if they are rich they usually have good housing environment where in poverty they dont which can affect education, essentials, transport and cash

genetic inheritance - DNA is passed on by parents making them like/dislike their features.

gender - males and females develop at different rates and develop different features at different ages and stages

family background - they may have lived in a care home or find home difficult

family structure - they may have a certain routine they have to follow at home that encourage them

cultural background - is how they have been brought up for religion, language, dress, manners and how they act

social class - depends on their parents jobs and the amount of money they earn either in upper class, middle class and the working class

adult expectations

housing and environment - large amount of plaves such as country and citys as country is quiet and peaceful while city is loud. noisy and full of crime.

manners- manners show a first impression of someone.

culutral differences are religion, rituals, dress, languages, disability and discrimination
