This is some of the info I've got about this. Due to the amount of rain fall the Kalahari desert attracts some animals and plant some of the plants in the Kalahari desert are: camel thorn, black thorn, devils claw.
Due to the climate because it is so hot in the day most of the animals are nocturnal like foxes that sort of thing. though when it rains heaps the Kalahari desert gets heaps of flamingos or so I've heard. Hope this helps you.
