1.There are flowers that bloom at night. The one that I know of was called "Night Blooming Cereus" by a friend who had one in his greenhouse. We went out on the night that it bloomed. It was a beautiful large white flower with many petals. I believe that moles can uproot flowers, I am not exactly sure if they do it just at night though. Rabbits and voles will destroy flowers to get at the bulbs or roots.
