Well, there are more disadvantages when living in a favela, but here are a few:
- There is a strong sense of community spirit as people help each other to improve the favelas
- The favelas now have schools where children can learn skills to get jobs
- The people living in favelas can always extend the favela to the size they want it
- And, best of all, you don´t need to pay taxes :P
