The main hallucinogenic cactus is the peyote cactus. the psychoactive alkaloid is called mescaline. There is not a term to specify just cactus hallucinogens, it would just be a hallucinogen.

As someone who has tried cactus juice in the past i can say yes i experienced hallucinations after drinking about half to 3 quarters of a little they were quite strong for a period of aprox 1-2 hours it really kicked ass.
