The holy people of Buddhism are called 'monks'.

Answer:

Holy implies that they are special to god or gods. Buddhism has no gods that interact with people and as a consequence there are no holy people. There are however people who are revered for their wisdom, guidance and knowledge. The first of these was, of course, the Buddha.

The Buddha and possibly the Monks and Nuns.

Answer:

"Holy" (especially beloved of a deity) is not a Buddhist concept. The closest might be "enlightened." All sentient beings may eventually become enlightened, so all people are potential candidates of enlightenment and Buddhahood. Some people like the Buddha, teachers and scholars and others are respected greatly, but they are not holy.

"Sacred" implies a special relationship to a god. Buddhism has no god fugure, hence there are no "sacred" people. There are people who are esteemed for their learning and teachings, good people, enlightened people and so on.
