He/She also is responsible for meetings with the district manager who oversees operations in multiple stores in a geographic region. Basically, a Store Manager makes sure sales/profit numbers are met, ensures a fully operational store, and has the final say in decisions made within the store pertaining to customer service policies, Human Resources, etc...
