new bedford mass. all you need to do is Google #1 fishing port in america.

It depends on what you mean by largest fishing port. If you are talking about dollar amount then yes it is New Bedford largely due to the scallop landings which fetch a high price and account for over 75% of the value of fish landed in New Bedford. If you are talking about volume, that is pounds of fish landed, then it is Dutch Harbor, Alaska. In 2010 there was 515.2 million pounds of fish and shellfish landed in Dutch Harbor. New Bedford was ranked number 9 with 133.4 million pounds. Quite a difference in weight but the price of scallops makes up for the lack of volume.

Local animal control is just one place to check for a lost animal. You can also put flyers up around town, call local SPCA, nearby shelters, also put flyers up around where your animal was last seen.
