In the United States, there are no consequences for smoking. Possession is another story (depending on the state, ranging from $200 fine to a lengthy jail term for less than an ounce). But being high is actually not a crime b/c no one can prove you imbibed anything illegal.
Added: I would have to disagree with the first part of the above answer. While it is true that merely being under the influence of the hashish is not an offense (unless you attempt to drive under its influence) In order to smoke it you would, of necessity, HAVE to 'possess' it. Possessing it is a violation of the law.
