Anything that has a solid state memory can be used for ready boost (as long as it included the hash ID that lets windows know its ReadyBoost enabled). Even some gaming mice have flash memory for the button assignments and windows sees them as ReadyBoost enabled. Remember though the USB speed of today may not imrove system speed to a point that you may notice.
