There are two Islamic holidays: 1. Eid al-Fitr, or the Feast of Breaking the Fast, which takes place the first day of the month that follows the fasting month, Ramadan. 2. Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of the Sacrifice, which takes place during the Hajj. Eid al-Adha celebrates God's mercy to Prophet Abraham, when God told him that he did not have to sacrifice his son, but could sacrifice a sheep instead. There are two Islamic holidays: 1.
