The main concerns of the Non-Gospel writings of the Christian Testament is that these testaments may be in accurate due to the fact that these historians are not in favor of Jesus Christ.

The non gospel books can be classified as:

history - Acts

prophecy - Revelation

letters - the books apart from Acts and Revelation.

The book of acts tells about the geographical out reach of the gospel and the growth of the church.

The remaining books are letters addressed to various churches eg the church at Ephesus or Rome. The purpose of the letters are to give teaching about the gospel or to correct false teaching. Also to encourage the new believers to walk worthy of the life God has called them to.

The Old Testament! The Hebrew Bible or Tanach, is a Christian's Old Testament. Their's is in a little different order than your traditional Christian bible having Torah first (same first 5 books yours has) then the prophets, then the writings. Do note that the use of "testament" regarding both the Old and New is better translated as covenant seeing God is not recorded as writing wills, he is rcorded as making and keeping covenants.CorrectionThe Jewish Bible is called the Tanach and is made up of the Torah (Teachings), Nevi'im (Prophets), and K'tuvim (Writings). The Christian Old Testament is based on the Tanach but was greatly altered to support the teachings of Christianity.
